The media revolution of 1963 ...
... that was the year in which television in Germany celebrated its 11th birthday and the ZDF channel began broadcasting. It was also the year in which Gerd Sidenstein founded Intervideo.
The idea behind the business? To present products and production processes in moving pictures. The technical basis? A portable film projector for 8 mm sound films. Brilliant, a media revolution: it was now possible for firms to show their own films everywhere, at trade fairs and exhibitions, in factories and at events.
A lot has happened since then. The only constants in the world of media are permanent upheavals and fast-paced innovation.
